Description
Of all the things Allah created, the Ruh (روح) — the soul — is the one He kept closest to Himself. When the people asked the Prophet ﷺ about its nature, Allah responded not with an explanation but with a declaration of divine ownership:
“And they ask you about the soul. Say: The soul is of the affair of my Lord. And mankind has not been given of knowledge except a little.” — Surah Al-Isra (17:85)
