Description
There is one ayah in the Quran that Allah repeats more than any other. In a single Surah. A divine hammer tapping on the heart of every believer — again and again and again — until the answer becomes impossible to deny:
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
“So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?” — Surah Ar-Rahman (55:13)
Many a times Allah asks this question. And each time it comes after a different blessing — the creation of the heavens and the earth, the rising of the sun and the moon, the provision of fruits and grain, the flow of rivers into the sea, the promise of gardens in Paradise. After each one — the same question. An invitation not to guilt but to recognition. Not to shame but to gratitude. Not to inadequacy but to the overwhelming, staggering, impossible-to-fully-comprehend reality that you are surrounded by the favors of your Lord at every single moment of your existence.
The Blessed Oversized T-Shirt is a wearable response to that question. The front carries a clean Blessed in bold blue — simple, confident, and certain. And the back carries the full declaration — Blessed. Blessed. Blessed. Three times, stacked in bold, eye-catching typography, with the Quranic reference Ar-Rahman 55:13 above and the beginning of the ayah itself below:
“So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?”
It is a design that stops people. That makes them read. That asks them the same question Allah asked thirty-one times — and invites them to arrive at the same answer a grateful believer always arrives at:
None. I would deny none of them.
In Islam, recognizing blessings is not passive. It is an act of worship. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Allah is pleased with His servant who, when he eats something, thanks Allah for it, and when he drinks something, thanks Allah for it.” — Muslim
Even a sip of water. Even a single bite of food. The one who notices the blessing and responds with gratitude has performed an act that pleases Allah. And the one who counts their blessings — truly counts them — will find that the counting never ends.
Allah promised:
“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you in favor.” — Surah Ibrahim (14:7)
Not might. Not possibly. Surely. Gratitude is one of the only guaranteed investment returns in existence — you give thanks, Allah gives more. You acknowledge the blessing, the blessing multiplies. You wear your blessedness with awareness and sincerity, and the One who gave them to you sees it.
The word Blessed itself carries something powerful in the vocabulary of faith. To be blessed is not just to have things — it is to have things with barakah. With divine favour woven through them. The house that is blessed is not necessarily the largest one. The life that is blessed is not necessarily the easiest one. It is the one where the Owner of all things has placed His approval, and His mercy.
Wear this shirt as a daily reminder of that. As a declaration to yourself before the day begins to complain. As a conversation opener with every person who reads your back and finds themselves — even for a moment — asking their own version of the same question: what has my Lord given me that I have not fully appreciated?
